vtclock: attendance and payroll without the spreadsheet chaos
Shops and field teams still run attendance in chat screenshots. I built a multi-tenant PWA for geofenced check-ins, leave, advance recovery, and printable salary slips.

Attendance living in WhatsApp. Leave requests buried in group chats. Payroll built from a half-updated sheet at month end. That was the default for more than one shop I talked to.
So I built VTClock.
What it does
Employees check in and out near an assigned office. Geofence radius, shift grace, late allowances, overnight shifts — the engine handles the boring edge cases so the sheet doesn't have to.
Leave is a real workflow. Staff apply with dates, type, and attachments. Admins approve, reject, or mark LOP without chasing threads.
Payroll builds from days actually worked. Holidays and weekly offs, day fractions, LOP, multi-month advance recovery. Printable salary slips with branding, earnings breakdown, and the remaining advance balance.
Admins get an inbox and optional Web Push. Employees get a login code and a phone-friendly PWA.
Stack
Next.js PWA on the front. Go API on the back. Multi-tenant isolation end to end. No third-party identity provider — sessions and login codes are in-house.
