uno tracker: because nobody can do mental math while losing

We play a lot of UNO. Scoring on paper kept ending in arguments. So I made a small app that runs the math, syncs across phones, and lets people watch live.

We play UNO a lot. Friday nights, weekends, long road trips. The game is fun. The scoring is not.

Someone always gets the math wrong. Someone else swears the math is right. The pen disappears halfway through. By round four nobody remembers if Akash already lost 75 or if that was last round. By round seven we've stopped keeping score and are just playing for ego.

So I made an app.

What it does

You add players. You start a game. After each round, tap who came first, second, third. The app does the rest. Points calculated. Scores stay zero sum. Leaderboard updates live.

The handy bit is the live sharing. Someone not at the table can open a link on their phone and watch the scores tick up in real time. Useful when one of us is doing a snack run and doesn't want to miss being roasted.

It also names the game for you, which started as a joke and turned into the thing people open the app to see.

Works on phones. Installable. Survives the dog stepping on the screen.

How I actually use it

Pretty much only at game night. Open it, set up players once, then it remembers everyone next time. Past games stick around so you can settle "I beat you last time" arguments with receipts.

That's the whole product.

Try it

Live at uno.akhilsingh.in. Add yourself, play a round, send the share link to whoever isn't at the table.
